During the September meeting of the Board of Trustees, we were thrilled to welcome three new members: the Rev. Canon Randy Kyle Callender, Canon for Mission in the Diocese of Maryland; Canon Tina Pickering, Canon to the Ordinary in the Episcopal Church of New Hampshire; and the Rt. Rev. Allen Shin, Bishop Suffragan of the Episcopal Diocese of New York.

- The Rev. Canon Randy Kyle Callender '10 is the Canon for Mission in the Diocese of Maryland. A Philadelphia native with a strong Barbadian family background, he has been a lifelong member of The Episcopal Church. He earned his Master of Divinity from EDS in 2010 and was the first African American male priest ordained in the Diocese of Pennsylvania in 25 years. Canon Randy+ has a passion for youth ministry and racial reconciliation, and he has been deeply involved with the Union of Black Episcopalians (UBE). His work with the One America Movement's Faith Over Division program highlights his commitment to fostering inclusivity and building relationships.

- Canon Tina Pickering, Canon to the Ordinary in the Episcopal Church of New Hampshire, has deep roots in The Episcopal Church and a lifelong commitment to social justice. She was baptized at Grace Episcopal Church in Salem, MA, and confirmed at St. Paul's School in Concord, NH. Tina’s experience includes working with diverse communities and serving as the Executive Director for the New Hampshire Bar Foundation, which provided civil legal aid for low-income people. She has also been instrumental in starting the first LGBTQ+ and Alumni of Color affinity groups at St. Paul's School and launched a diocesan effort to address educational inequity in New Hampshire.

The Rt. Rev. Allen K. Shin was elected Bishop Suffragan of the Diocese of New York in 2013. Born in South Korea, he brings a wealth of experience to the board, having served in various capacities across the globe. Bishop Shin studied at the General Theological Seminary and the University of Oxford, where he also served as a Fellow and Chaplain of Keble College. He is currently the Chair of the House of Bishops Theology Committee and also serves on the board of The Bible and Common Prayerbook Society.
