Nuha El-Far Shaheen is a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Ramallah, Palestine, and serves as a vestry member. She is a board member of “Friends of the Holy Land” in Palestine (a UK-based Charity) and of “Evangelical Home Association” in Ramallah. Recently, she earned a master’s degree from Bethlehem Bible College in “Public Affairs Theology – Theology and Contemporary Context in Palestine and the Arab Levant.” She is primarily interested in contextual theology, particularly in the modern Palestinian context, which is rife with dire needs and replete with difficult experiences. An adamant proponent of justice and equality, she seeks to explore avenues to empower every Christian to participate in and contribute meaningfully to the struggle for hope, freedom, and a just peace as an integral part of daily life.
