Distributive Learning Housing

Distributive Learning (DL) students at EDS are solely responsible for booking and paying for their housing during January and June terms—allowing DL students more options, flexibility, and independence in managing housing costs during intensive sessions.

Housing Resources

In addition to the resources below, students are encouraged to explore other housing possibilities such as Airbnb, Trulia, or local real estate agencies that may have short term rental availability.

For the January and June 2016 Sessions, EDS has blocked rooms at the Sheraton Commander in Cambridge. The hotel is accepting reservations for Saturday, January 2 through Saturday, January 16, 2016, at the rate of $149 per night. The deadline to make reservations is Thursday, December 5, 2015.

To make a reservation please call the reservations line at 888-627-7121, or book online through our customized Episcopal Divinity School Winter Session site at www.starwoodmeeting.com/Book/Winter16.

Remember, you must identify yourself as an EDS student when you make your reservation to recieve the block room rate.

If you would like to receive financial assistance with your housing costs, please send your reservation confirmation along with the amount of assistance you are requesting to Valerie Paterson (vpaterson@eds.edu) in the Financial Aid Office after you have made your reservation. You will receive a housing assistance notice after you have submitted your request.

In addition to hotels in the Harvard Square/Cambridge area, there are many hotels in downtown Boston that offer easy access to Harvard Square via Boston's public transportation system, the MBTA. A search of any major travel booking website (such as hotels.com, for example) will offer a broad selection of hotel options in the Boston area.
